HOW TO SUBMIT

PRIOR TO ANY SUBMISSION IT IS REQUIRED THAT YOUR MATERIAL BE PROTECTED BY BEING REGISTERED OR COPYRIGHTED.

Two ways to protect your material:

Register your script with the WRITERS GUILD OF AMERICA ("WGA").

The registration service is available to non-members and members alike. Registration fees are US $20 for non-members, US $10 for WGA members in good standing. Registration can be accomplished:

At the WGA offices in Los Angeles or New York
By mail (by check or money order payable to the WGA)
By internet via Visa or MasterCard

Rush Service

If rush service is desired, submissions must be made via Fedex (or similar express carrier) along with a pre-paid envelope for the return of your material; or, submit by electronic mail.

There is an additional charge for printing, packaging and mailing material when submitted electronically: $10 fee for screenplays and teleplays; $25 fee for manuscripts. Scripts must be in Adobe Acrobat.pdf, MovieMagic or Final Draft. fdr formats. Make electronic submissions to:

If you wish to have your material returned electronically with analysis notes type-written and handwritten script notes, editing and proofing corrections on the pages, please submit your script or manuscript in Microsoft Word.rtf (Rich Text Format). Please be aware that if this format is used, page breaks and page count will likely be altered (in this instance, fees for exceeding page count limitations may be waived). If this option is chosen, there is no additional charge for printing and mailing. If choosing an electronic return of your material, it is important that you clearly make known that is your preference in your e-mail submission.
